I actually watched this movie it was ok, but i did not like the end were she sleeps with the old dude and tries to go back to her boyfriend…?

Sherlock Holmes 2009
I don’t know about anyone else but when I saw the first trailer for this movie I was like this is just Hollywood bullshit just trying to make a buck. Esp. with Robert Downey Jr coming off his success as Ironman this movie just seems to scream “lets make some money”.
And I have to say I helped them make some cash too but I wasn’t let down, probably because I didn’t over hype the movie in my mind like a lot of other people did. I was actually going to his movie to make fun of it. The only thing I could think about is how are they going to make an action Sherlock Holmes. I’ve seen this character done so many ways. I’ve seen the cartoon well both cartoons (thats right even Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd cent.). I’ve even seen the mouse version (the great mouse detective).

All I can say was this version was the most entertaining Sherlock Holmes I’ve seen. Personally I liked how they did the detective parts. The clues to the mystery were very well hidden and you would’ve had to been Holmes to see them which is how it should be.
Now the action parts…Holmes knowing what I’m going to call science Kung Fu was…interesting cheesy yes and an excuse for him to be stronger than he looks. For the most part I let those scenes slide (probably because I had two shots of sake before the movie)
Ok so all I got to say is I would give this movie a shot you might be surprised like I was and it definitely is a more original story than Avatar (sorry its true).
